Dosage and Treatment

An optimal treatment of your pond with Biologic Boost POND Plus takes place in 3 phases:

Phase 1: Timing and Preparation

The treatment should not be carried out in bright sunshine and can be carried out at a water temperature of 4°C or higher. Turn off any pumps and UV lamps, at least for the next 24 hours. The UV lamp can also remain turned off for several days as long as no new algae formation occurs.

Phase 2: Dosing and application

Dosage for natural ponds & biotopes: Pro 10.000 L pond water 1 liters Biologic Boost POND and 0,5 kg of zeolite Mix with 5-8 liters of pond water (not tap water) in a watering can or barrel and apply.

Dosage for swimming ponds: Pro 10.000 L pond water 0,5 liters Biologic Boost POND and 0,5 kg of zeolite Mix with 3-5 litres of pond water (not tap water) in a watering can or barrel and plant area spread and 0,5 liters Biologic Boost POND Mix with 3-5 litres of pond water in a watering can and Swimming area spread.
Biologic Boost POND with zeolite should not be applied in the swimming area so that the fine zeolite is not stirred up again by swimming or sucked out of the pond by any existing vacuum robots.

Phase 3: After treatment and follow-up treatment

After treatment, the water will be cloudy for a few days and pumps and UV lamps should not be switched on again until the water has cleared.
Repeat this process every 4-6 weeks until the pond has reached your desired condition. After that, we recommend a treatment in spring or autumn to keep your pond in optimal balance all year round.

Tips and important information

Biologic Boost POND It has a positive effect on aquatic animals, fish, and plants, and these are not harmed. Medications, copper-containing algae treatments, and pond treatment with UV devices can impair its effectiveness.
