Thread algae are always a cause of excessive nutrient supply and insufficient or missing aquatic plants. The excessive nutrient supply can be caused either by fish and their natural excretion and overfeeding, or by external inputs such as pollen and leaves. Try to remove the thread algae as best as possible and then introduce Biologic Boost POND Premium and Zeolite in the dosage required for your pond. Repeat this process every 4 to 6 weeks until no new filamentous algae appear. 

Biologic Boost POND and zeolite do not harm your koi, fish, or other pond creatures. The high number of regenerative microorganisms in our products makes fish more willing to spawn and feel incredibly comfortable. Zeolite, with its ability to bind toxins and nutrients, also makes the water environment for these creatures healthier and clearer, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful colors of the koi.

Cloudy water is usually caused by organic matter (floating algae, sludge, excess nutrients and fertilizers, fish food residues, etc.). Treat your pond with Biologic Boost POND Premium or Infinity and zeolite in the required dosage. Repeat this process every 4 to 6 weeks until your pond is clear again. Please note that any UV lamps should be turned off for at least 24 hours. Existing pumps and natural drains should be turned off or closed for the next 2-3 days to allow the zeolite and microorganisms to settle and settle in the sediment. 

Unfortunately, treatment with Biologic Boost POND It doesn't make sense in a pool because it lacks the necessary plants, which are essential for a naturally functioning cycle. If you have a freshwater pool and find the maintenance and chlorine levels too high, an alternative would be to convert to a saltwater pool or perhaps even to a natural pool with a plant zone. A plant zone would enable the natural water cycle to return, and our products could be helpful in this regard. 

Before winter, it is important to reduce the nutrient load due to external inputs in the autumn and to trim, but not eliminate, existing aquatic plants. If the water has not yet dropped below 4 degrees Celsius, a treatment with Biologic Boost POND and zeolite make sense, as the microorganisms are immediately available next spring when temperatures rise again and significantly reduce algae pressure. The risk of your sediment starting to rot is also eliminated. Additionally, the zeolite binds nutrients and any toxins. 

If your pond is in natural biological balance, you will have clear, healthy water, minimal algae growth, and beautifully developed aquatic plants. To achieve or maintain this, it is necessary to maintain sufficient aquatic plants (approximately 1/3 of the water surface) and an optimal microbial composition in the water. Of course you can also use our products for your aquarium, you just have to adjust the dosage to your aquarium size, whereby an overdose of Biologic Boost POND Plus it doesn't cause any damage but costs more money. 

The cause of algae formation in swimming ponds, as with all other pond types, is an excess of nutrients combined with too few or no aquatic plants. Unlike in other ponds, however, it is necessary to apply zeolite only to the plant area, as this is continually disturbed in the swimming area and removed from the natural circulation of the pond water when cleaned with a robot vacuum. Whether the treatment is carried out with Biologic Boost POND Basic Plus, Premium Plus or Infinity Plus What is done depends on the pollution of your pond. In any case, remove the existing algae from the pond as best as possible using filter systems or manual treatment and then continue the treatment with Biologic Boost POND Plus. Repeat this treatment every 4-6 weeks until your pond reaches the necessary balance. 

The fine organic matter in green pond water cannot be removed from the pond using filter systems and skimmers. If you refill your pond after a new installation or renovation, be sure to use Biologic Boost POND Basic Plus in the required quantity so that it can immediately establish a healthy environment with the right microorganisms. Then plant the necessary plants. Even if the plants aren't yet strong or large enough to extract nutrients from your pond with the help of the microorganisms, you're giving your pond and plants an optimal start so they can develop optimally. In this case, repeat the treatment after a few weeks until the plants have developed sufficiently to extract nutrients from the algae. 

Even if the pH value of the Biologic Boost POND If the pH of the product is between 3 and 3,8, the microorganisms will manage to normalize the pH value over time. Repeat the treatment every 4-6 weeks until the normal range is reached.

Ensure sufficient aquatic plants – approximately one-third of the water surface should be covered with aquatic plants. If the pond is exposed to strong sunlight, the young aquatic plants will not be able to absorb all the nutrients, and algae will grow. Therefore, repeat the treatment every few weeks. The best times are late autumn or spring, with spring being preferable as the rising temperatures allow aquatic plants to develop faster and better. Regardless of the timing, it is always important that you complete the pond renovation by treating it with Biologic Boost POND Plus so that the young aquatic plants can develop well and quickly and extract nutrients from the pond before the algae do.
