These pipes have the ability to absorb harmful substances and suspended particles in the water. 
Due to the lower firing temperature, the pink pipes are more porous and can therefore filter pollutants and suspended particles from the water.
The absorption of pollutants means that the pipes become so saturated after approximately 6-8 months that they need to be replaced. The pipes should be soaked in water for about two days before use, otherwise they will impart a clay-like taste to the water.
Applications: e.g., drinking water jug, aquarium, garden pond
Tip: We recommend the grey ceramic pipes for energizing the water.

Both types of pipe can be used simultaneously. Double the benefit!
