Application: Used in ponds and aquaculture facilities. Pond water and aquaculture systems are polluted by many substances, such as fish excrement, uneaten food, dead plant matter, etc. These inputs lead to an overabundance of nutrients (nitrogen, phosphate). The consequences are a reduction in oxygen levels, excessive algae growth, and the formation of putrid sludge. Biologic Boost POND Basic It supports beneficial pond bacteria, thus promoting the self-cleaning abilities of aquatic habitats and simultaneously caring for the pond inhabitants. This is the finest zeolite with a grain size of 0–0,1 mm and is a light, loosely crystallized volcanic sedimentary rock with at least 85–95% clinoptilolite crystals. As a result, it has an extremely large negatively charged surface area, similar to clay or healing earth.
Due to its enormous internal and external surface area, zeolite can absorb large quantities of nutrients and water and also reliably bind toxins such as heavy metals, ammonium or mold toxins (mycotoxins).

At the same time, the large surface area stimulates the microorganisms that readily colonize zeolite. Therefore, zeolite is used not only in bodies of water, but also in composting for high-quality soil mixtures, as filter material, and in smaller quantities in animal feed. Application and scope
Due to the diverse, highly concentrated community of microorganisms, a dosage of 1 liter is generally recommended. Biologic Boost POND Basic per 10 m³ (10.000 l) of water. We recommend mixing this amount with 1:10 liters of pond water and the zeolite natural rock flour, spraying it over as much of the water surface as possible (using a backpack sprayer or hose system) or pouring it in with a watering can. Biologic Boost POND Basic and the zeolite natural rock flour should be distributed over the entire pond in one treatment.

If no significant improvement is seen after 4 to 6 weeks, we recommend applying the same amount in a second treatment. Please ensure sufficient plant growth in your pond for successful application (approximately 1/3 of the water surface).

Important NOTE
Medications, copper-based algaecides, and UV water clarifiers can reduce the effectiveness of Biologic Boost POND Basic impair or negate.
